In pursuit of this mission, the global partnerships team is responsible for developing, executing, and managing partnerships and strategic initiatives that enable Stripe’s product and payments ecosystem.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for developing and managing relationships with external partners that enable Stripe’s product strategy and deliver new capabilities to Stripe users. Our team executes on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives to bring new products to market and enable Stripe to scale globally. We are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial intern with strong product instincts to work on some of Stripe’s most critical external partnerships.

We’re hiring MBA interns for this summer for the Financial Partnerships and the Payments & Commerce teams within the Global Partnerships organization. Applying to this posting will enable you to be considered for both roles.

You Will

• Lead the development of partnership strategies to align with product and business goals
• Help source, structure, and negotiate deals with partners in pursuit of these broader goals
• Understand our partners’ strategic priorities, challenges, and internal roadmaps; regularly communicate insights and strategic recommendations to Stripe product stakeholders
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop and influence product roadmaps
• Identify opportunities for partnerships to address product gaps or create net new business opportunities

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

• Current enrollment in a Master of Business Administration program
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience, with some of that experience in an external-facing role
• Experience working at or with financial institutions, payments companies, or technology companies
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally
• High attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using data to make decisions and influence stakeholders
• Sense of urgency to deliver impact for Stripe’s users and ability to transition between work streams based on priorities
• Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, be proactive, and thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
• Humility and leads by example, setting the right context and helping teammates do their best work
• Interest in and intellectual curiosity about payments, economic infrastructure, and Stripe’s partners
