Next is looking to hire an entrepreneurially-minded Strategy & Planning Associate that will report to our VP of Operations. You will be actively involved in strategic planning, business analytics, executive communications, managing core processes, and driving new strategic initiatives to support the company’s growth. This is a high-impact and highly visible role that will support Next’s continued growth as a leader in small business insurance.

What You’ll Do:

• Take on strategic projects that enable scale and operational efficiency improvements
• Partner with the VP of Operations and Ops Leadership Team to ensure the department’s strategic planning processes run smoothly
• Assist with board-level presentations, department-wide presentations, and ad-hoc presentations
• Track and analyze business KPIs to support leadership decision-making and raise solutions as needed
• Provide thought leadership on strategic areas of interest to the VP of Operations and senior Operations Leadership.

What We Need:

• 3+ years' of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank, and/or experience on a Product, Business Operations, or Internal Strategy team at a technology company
• Final title and leveling depending on experience
• Solid analytical, problem solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Google Workspace (gSuite) and Microsoft Office suites; SQL and Tableau experience highly preferred
• Passion to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes.
• Comfort working in a high-growth, constantly changing environment.
