2022 PRODUCT INTERN

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cadre internship program is designed to be an unparalleled learning experience for students interested in working on real, high-impact projects from day one. The 11-week paid internship with our team at our New York City office. You will experience as much of what it is like to be a full-time member of our team as possible going through each step from onboarding to a mid-program review, regular 1:1s with your dedicated manager and mentor throughout the program and the be integrated into the broader team through coffee chats and learning opportunities with team members across different business groups and to team lunches and events.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Product Intern you will help research to understand our customer experience and define product requirements to help prioritize and inform new products and feature improvements. You will work closely with the broader team to influence not only what we build, but how we build it, by developing best practices in user research, product specifications, prioritization, implementation/delivery, data analysis, and gathering feedback.

• Collaborate closely with the engineering and design teams in New York to help define features, edge cases, and implementation details and ensure we are delivering and improving high-quality products
• Conduct user research and data analysis to understand the needs of our customers
• Own a roadmap that prioritizes upcoming work based on expected impact
• Work cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and legal teams to unblock work and create alignment across the company

WHAT YOU HAVE

• A graduation date in December 2022 or May 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree
• Interest in financial services, investments, or real estate
• Interest in product management, research and analysis - helping research, define product requirements, prioritize, and build new products and feature improvements and use feedback to iterate and learn (to drive the growth and efficiency of the company)
• Ability to think strategically and creatively to gather product and customer insights
• Highly motivated self-starter and engaged learner - excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams
• Excels in a team environment – proactive, collaborative, collegial, inquisitive
