Pollen is a software and education company rooted in the belief that everyone should be able to control their own economic outcomes. We start with our first product that helps aspiring freelance entrepreneurs start their businesses through productized advisory, a freelancer tech stack, and powerful workflow automations. We demystify the entrepreneurial process and over time, our vision is to become the SBA for the future of work.

About the role

We’re looking for an incredible intern to join our team for the summer! We’re open to part time (minimum 10 hrs/ week) and full time internship roles.

What you’ll be doing

• Support with operations of running a startup, working directly with the founders.
• Develop strategy and execute on key initiatives across Marketing, Strategy, Partnerships, and/or Product.
• Support our product prototyping process as we prepare to bring it to market.
• Collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders.
• Talk with customers and document and structure feedback to make it actionable into our product development.

Ideal qualifications

• Have minimum 2 years of work experience, ideally in a Product, Strategy, Finance, Design, Engineering or Marketing role.
• Track record of effectively making impact in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
• Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions.
• You are excited to get early-stage startup experience and are comfortable navigating through ambiguity.
• Strategic, self-started with a can-do attitude. You act like an owner and when you see an opportunity to improve something, you do it.
• Proficient in collaboration and design tools (Slack, Notion, Figma, Miro, etc)

Bonus points

• You can make design and prototypes and are proficient in no-code tools (Bubble, Webflow, etc).
• Personal passion for entrepreneurship and economic mobility.
