What you’ll do:

Marble is looking for a part-time Operations Coordinator, Intern to join our team and help reinvent how consumers interact with their insurance and what they expect from it. This is a part-time, remote-optional position, paid hourly.

You will be responsible for helping us create and implement a delightful member-first experience. You’ll be on the front lines as we create an entirely new personal insurance experience and product. Your ambition, customer focus, and high attention to detail will be crucial to your success on this team

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized communicator who consistently makes sound decisions while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment. You will be interacting directly with our members and licensed partners via written communication channels to ensure everyone has the best possible experience with Marble. Additionally, you will be managing and processing a pipeline of tasks that keep the Marble platform humming!

We are looking for individuals who build rapport quickly, organize themselves and others through clear frameworks, and bring positive “can-do” energy to their work and team.

About you:

  • World class verbal and written communication skills
  • You have completed at least one internship, similar engagement, or have significant interest in consumer start-ups
  • Preferred majors: Marketing, Operations
  • An analytical mindset and spreadsheet/Excel skills are a definite plus
  • Preferred: You have a few hours of availability on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with project management tools (including Jira and Confluence) and common communications tools (including Google Apps and Slack)

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for ensuring operations and processing tasks are being managed effectively and quickly
  • You will be responsible for deploying resources when needed to ensure quick and delightful member issue resolution
  • You will talk with Marble members and interested potential members via written communication channels, and help them seamlessly navigate the Marble platform from onboarding onward
  • You will proactively manage a processing pipeline in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, ensuring promptness in communicating with our members and external partners
  • You will execute and manage daily processing tasks as the Marble product continues to evolve; drive company objectives and KPIs through exceptional execution
  • You will maintain and update our in-house tracking tools and resources so we can stay on top of all of our operational tasks
