We’re looking for a rock star to lead our Coach Ops efforts—helping us source, onboard, and manage the relationship with Leland’s coaches. Coaches represent the supply side of our marketplace, and are a critical piece in Leland’s growth. Coaches hail from the best schools and companies in the world, and this role will be responsible for supporting coaches as they manage their independent coaching practices and help customers reach their goals.

If you are someone who enjoys building relationships with intelligent people, creating systems that support scale, and driving growth in a marketplace, then we’d love to chat.

  • Dive headfirst into the education and career coaching industries

  • Identify new and exciting coaches for our marketplace

  • Develop your sales and people skills by engaging new coaches and bringing them onto the platform

  • Onboard new coaches, making them feel welcome in the Leland community

  • Coordinate with coaches on small group class offerings and other coach-generated content

  • Shepherd the coach-only portions of the Leland community, to maximize coach engagement, satisfaction, and retention

  • Respond to coach feedback and help guide coaches to successful outcomes (closing clients and helping them provide the best coaching possible)

  • Proactively seek input from coaches about their wants and needs, then surprise and delight by going above and beyond

  • Help organize and execute coach-led events, such as Twitter Spaces calls and Zoom webinars

  • Support the publishing of “Why I Coach” posts (a series of stories on LinkedIn by all new Leland coaches) and devise new narrative-centric ways for coaches to share their experience and drive Leland’s growth

  • Work with our engineers and product designers to help grow our world-class marketplace product

  • Contribute to our team culture by fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment

  • Be a part of building a company from the ground up

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in operations, customer experience, community, or strategy roles

  • You have a strong track record with community building, with recent examples and results

  • You’re skilled with FB groups, Slack, and other social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc)

  • You’re an outstanding communicator with excellent people skills, who also enjoys writing

  • You’re curious, and eager to learn something new every day

  • You’re excited about a hybrid working model, and ready to collaborate with a distributed team (primarily based in the Bay Area and Utah)

Benefits & Perks

  • Weekly meal allowance

  • Robust medical insurance (dental, vision, disability, etc)

  • Flexible PTO

  • Quarterly team offsite (our last one was in Aspen, CO)

Leland is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage candidates of all backgrounds and demographics to apply.
