ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cadre internship program is designed to be an unparalleled learning experience for students interested in working on real, high-impact projects from day one. During this 11-week paid internship with our team at our New York City office, you will experience what it is like to be a full-time member of our team., including regular 1:1s with your dedicated manager and mentor throughout the program and opportunities to engage with team members across different business groups through coffee chats, team lunches and events, and learning opportunities.

Description of Work

Cadre is looking for an undergraduate intern to join our Business Operations & Growth team, which is responsible for identifying growth opportunities to advance our innovative and disruptive platform, driving priority C-suite growth initiatives and creating operational efficiencies. This is a high-powered team with diverse perspectives composed of ex-IB, ex-PE and ex-consulting individuals who are focused on using data analysis, intuition, and creativity to drive strategic initiatives. This individual will work on initiatives that focus on growth, scale and productivity of our core real estate investment products, as well as processes, for both real estate funds and individual deal offerings. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Operations & Growth, you will partner with the investments, sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and grow Cadre’s commercial real estate business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Help produce insights and analytics that describe the critical drivers of the investment platform. Develop models and strategies for implementing processes and best practices to support consistent, data-driven decision-making across Cadre
  • Support go-to-market launch and continued business development of emerging/new investment products and offerings for target investor segments
  • Assist in due diligence processes for key investor relationships; produce and present performance analyses, as well as serve an internal liaison for these investor relationships
  • Conduct competitive research on industry peers, identify implications to the business and provide recommended course of action to solidify advantages and improve product deficiencies
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to produce real estate thought leadership that will be used to drive investor acquisition

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • A graduation date in December 2022 or May 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, real estate or related field
  • Interest in fintech, marketplaces, and real estate
  • Highly motivated self-starter and engaged learner - excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to look into the details and interpret the impact of key data and communicate ideas and information effectively
  • Positive attitude, takes direction well and embraces feedback
  • Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams – proactive, collaborative, collegial, inquisitive
