The Opportunity
We are looking to hire a Business Operations Associate to join our Ocean Tradelane Management team in North America. The team’s mission is to profitably grow ocean business at Flexport by offering reliable, competitive, and diverse solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be a go-to analyst for leadership within the global Ocean team, driving business insights across a wide array of projects, developing and enhancing tools, processes, and systems to help with Flexport’s mission of making global trade easier. You will be a jack of all trades, excelling at the intersections of financial analysis, business development, operational analysis, and communications. You’ll work alongside fellow entrepreneurial self-starters interested in solving real-world problems and streamlining the inefficiencies in the complex global trade industry. You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally across many groups including Data Analytics, Product, Client Solutions, Finance, Operations, and Marketing & Communications.
