About The Role

As the Operations Analyst, you'll be an integral part of building and launching our new portfolio companies. You’ll work cross-functionally across all departments to develop each company’s critical foundational infrastructure from scratch and successfully launch each new venture.

What You’ll Do

• Support Operations and executive leadership in executing on key business priorities throughout our incubation lifecycle
• Perform market and competitive research to help the team identify strategic opportunities and hone business and operating models
• Work cross-functionally to develop core go-to-market operating, financial, and staffing models
• Own process creation and enforcement with exceptional organization and communication skills
• Serve as an integral member of an initial cross-functional launch team to establish business infrastructure for each new portfolio company
• Develop clear and concise documentation to help build out process flows related to the operations of Cold Start and our venture incubations
• Assist in the procurement of products or tools to improve operational efficiency by conducting robust vendor searches, crafting a recommendation, and reporting to leadership
• Create professional deliverables and present them to senior internal and external stakeholders
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Strategy, Innovation, or similar field
• 1-3 years of experience in a relevant Operations role
• Management consulting, investment banking, private equity or venture capital or startup operations experience preferred
• Experience as an early team member in a hyper-growth, tech-forward startup environment a plus
• Solid skill set in strategic operational and financial modeling and analysis. Comfort with large data sets and strong data analytics skills
• Strong organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple, complex workstreams and competing priorities in parallel
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills; ability to tactfully engage senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to learn the nitty gritty of company building
