About The Role

  • Entrepreneur Support (~70% of time): Support the Smart City portfolio lead to deliver Endeavor’s core service offerings to entrepreneurs raising capital. Majority of time in this function will be spent preparing entrepreneurs to raise venture capital (pitch deck review, mentorship), running capital raising roadshows (identifying target VC funds, making warm introductions, etc) and managing the deal flow for Endeavor’s own fund, Endeavor Catalyst. The candidate will interact and execute ~20 capital projects simultaneously and will require exceptionally strong project management skills.
  • Strategic Initiatives (20% of time): Support strategic organizational initiatives working to improve Endeavor’s service delivery to entrepreneurs. Majority of time in this function will be spent analyzing, searching for and onboarding new mentors and investors in the Smart City space.
  • Knowledge Management (~10% of time): Manage salesforce data and knowledge on specific events, mentors, investors and overall trends related to the industry; update and maintain relevant marketing materials. Identify and share best practices on entrepreneur support to help train/upskill local staff across 40 markets.

Deliveries

  • Support portfolio leads with servicing efforts, with focus on capital raising projects
  • Support the team with the development of strategic projects and improvement of current processes
  • Cultivate and engage mentors, partners, and investors to support the portfolio

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in consulting, venture capital, finance, a start-up, or an international organization
  • Interest in entrepreneurship, business, economics, and international development
  • Strong business acumen and familiarity with evaluating business models, financial statements and go to market strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • High interpersonal and organizational abilities; strong attention to detail
  • Experience in the venture capital space is a plus
  • Knowledge of salesforce a plus
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the United States
