The Team:

We are a fast-moving, analytically driven B2B marketing team. We show innovative companies how they can improve their applications and get to market faster. We do hundreds of events, thousands of marketing campaigns, research and evangelize ideas that move our industry forward, and more.

The Opportunity:

As an intern, you'll work alongside (and learn from) full-time Datadog employees. You'll receive guidance from professionals in your field of interest, build relevant experience that you can apply in the real world, participate in outings, and collaborate on important initiatives that directly impact the company.

We are looking for someone passionate about demand generation or marketing in general. We need someone who is a sponge and can help us with marketing analytics, sales awareness, and organizing some podcast and newsletter sponsorships. We’re on a mission to bring sanity and clarity to the world’s most complex companies through our SaaS product, Datadog. Help us connect with developers, engineers, and system administrators across the globe in new ways by using your ingenuity and tenacity (and, of course, some budget).

There is an opportunity for this position to turn into a full time position at the conclusion of the internship.

You Will:

  • Help Demand Generation research, analyze, and launch lead generation campaigns including, but not limited to, Podcast ads, newsletter ads, GoogleAds, FacebookAds, InstagramAds and more
  • Perform content audits to assist the SEO team identify business opportunities and new content possibilities
  • Help investigate Marketing Qualified Leads to increases Marketing and Sales Pipelines and contribute additional revenue to Datadog
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify “hot” inbound leads to improve follow up rates and quality of outreach
  • Learn to write ad copy, social media posts, and more to help drive conversions and traffic to the website
  • Work with Marketo, Salesforce, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more!


  • An undergraduate student enrolled at a U.S. based university or college targeting a graduation date of Dec 2022 - Aug 2023
  • Able to intern from May 31st - Aug 19th, 2022

Bonus Points:

  • You have marketing experience, or previous internship experience
  • Interest in technology, cloud computing, IT industry
  • You have experience with Marketo, Salesforce, or similar automation tools
  • You have used Google Search Console before
