Who are we?

Rose is a data marketplace, which solves the pain of buying and selling financial data, and analytics platform, which allows you to easily work with, share, and store your company’s data. We were founded by senior alumni from Bridgewater Associates and recently closed a $5.5mm seed round, to pursue our dreams of making a world where data isn’t the worst part of your day. We believe this world will be built by fusing world class talent from the fields of finance and technology.

Our platform was designed for financial institutions who use both code and spreadsheets to work with data. Our low-code environment acts as both a data warehouse and visualization tool, ensuring that everyone in your organisation is able to access and analyze data, regardless of technical training or ability. Our data marketplace is radically transforming how users buy, sell, and discover new data sources.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join our quickly expanding team for a week in NYC. The candidate will support management, sales and business operations. This is a unique opportunity to get on the ground floor of a rapidly growing company.

Our ideal candidate:

Must Have:
Must be a college student or a recent graduate pursuing a degree in business/analytical or related field to be considered for this position
Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and show a strong passion for learning
Strong business and financial acumen with a desire to work in a team environment
Strong working knowledge of Excel and general knowledge of finance fundamentals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of financial principles and total business process and procedures

Great to Have:
Experience working in finance
Experience working with time-series data
