Headquartered in Silicon Valley, SVB Capital is a multi-strategy investment platform targeting the Innovation Economy with approximately $6.4B of assets under management across venture capital fund of funds, technology and life sciences direct funds, and credit funds. The Data Science and Engineering team develops and manages a curated data and analytics platform that provides intelligence and drives efficiency to SVB Capital. We strive to be the industry leading analytics and data science practice, bringing a data-driven approach to venture investing and financing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop custom insights and reporting to inform our investment and fundraising teams
  • Help in mapping a network of key Venture Capital players to identify potential investors
  • Monitor and drive adoption of data solutions across internal teams
  • Structure medium to large data sets

Skills &amp Requirements

  • Candidates must be students currently enrolled in a college/university (Minimum Requirement)
  • Experience with programming languages such as python
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience working with large data sets
