Wreno provides a new labor supply at scale for all home management needs. Our technology platform organizes, trains, and dispatches an on-demand, national workforce. Together, our workforce and technology provides a faster, more cost-effective service of single-family home maintenance, repair, and renovations for our iBuyer, REIT, and other institutional real estate firm customers.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Our first native-apps engineer will bring Wreno’s user-facing native applications to life. This engineer will be responsible for creating and publishing our apps, which will be used by Wrenners to learn new skills, complete work orders, and manage their schedules. Our native apps engineer will initially be responsible for both iOS and Android frontends, collaborating with Designers and web frontend engineers in order to provide a consistent experience and API across all platforms. They will help define Wreno’s API layer and work with the engineering team to ensure that our schema supports web and mobile effectively. This engineer will lead our native app architecture and propose and implement improvements to functionality, scalability, and performance as we grow.

WHO YOU ARE

You write clean, testabale, maintainable code, and have built and published native applications to the iOS and/or Android App Stores. More importantly, you are a thoughtful and collaborative engineer capable of not only building apps our users will love, but also supporting other engineers and helping iterate on our team’s process and development standards. You love to support the work of others as much as your own and are willing to wear multiple hats to get products launched and into users’ hands. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS

• 3+ years of experience building native applications
• Experience publishing to app stores (both preferred)
• Familiarity with React Native or cross-platform/hybrid apps a plus
• Ability to build and publish iOS and Android applications, using React Native or a similar technology
• Eager to own and design core native application functionality, such as login, user tracking, sending and receiving data, and creating basic views
• Collaborate effectively with designers to develop and execute on user stories
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to build Wreno’s user-facing APIs
