About Coda

Coda started with an observation: In a world full of applications, why do documents and spreadsheets still run everything? And why haven't they been meaningfully updated in over 50 years? Coda is a new doc that's familiar and flexible like the documents you're used to, but comes with building blocks you can combine to create docs as powerful as apps. It's a big product with an even bigger mission. And we need your help to spread the word! We're backed by some of the Valley's leading venture capitalists, and have assembled a world-class team across offices in San Francisco, Mountain View, and Seattle, and remote employees all over the US. In fact, all our jobs are open in any location across the US. Here's a quick overview of what we do.

About The Role

We're looking for a Business Operations & Strategy Associate to help shape and drive strategy for Coda's go to market (GTM) motion. You will blend strategy with on-the-ground execution in working with leaders across the organization including Sales, Marketing, Success, Support, and Partnerships to implement initiatives that drive success in company goals. You will report to our Head of Sales Operations and Strategy.

In This Role You Will

  • Partner cross-functionally with GTM teams on projects to develop and optimize proposed GTM strategies
  • Create key metrics and targets to measure our performance, proactively highlight risks, improve forecasts, and implement relevant recommendations
  • Gain broad experience in strategy and operations across GTM teams, including Sales, Marketing, Success, Support, and others
  • Guide programs to automate processes through technology
  • Help create board/investor materials and other ad hoc projects

You may be a great fit for this role if:

  • 2+ years work experience in strategy consulting, SaaS go-to-market strategy/ops, or similar enterprise sales/marketing enablement & analytics roles
  • Experience building your own queries using SQL
  • Embody a growth mindset and a talent for breaking complex problems down into manageable parts
  • Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions) / Google Sheets and ability to manage independent analysis/modeling projects
  • Comfortable extracting meaningful insight from both overwhelmingly large and frustratingly small datasets and demonstrated proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Mode, Amplitude)
  • Experience in the technology industry; understanding of SaaS business models
