What You Will Do

The Business Development analyst internship is an opportunity to join a dynamic team utilizing data to inform investment decisions and trends throughout the single-family rental industry. The Business Development team works cross functionally on strategic initiatives across the Enterprise and retail platforms, partnering with engineering, data science and marketing on key initiatives. This internship will provide an opportunity to learn about data aggregation and analyzing large datasets. This summer analyst will be encouraged to view information from multiple lenses and be an independent thinker who challenges the status quo and creates their own thesis and strategy. Now is an exciting time to join the team as there are multiple ongoing projects to provide meaningful contribution towards that will directly impact the Roofstock business. Projects may include:

Market Analysis to identify key trends in the SFR sector that will impact business planning and sales strategy

Digesting multiple data sources (public and private) to understand moving ownership cohorts in the growing SFR spaceObserving and documenting critical and complicated workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation

Requirements

• Required skills
• Currently pursuing your undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Data Science, or Computer Science with an expected graduation date between 2022 - 2024
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT)
• (nice-to-have: SQL experience)
