About The Role

Orchard’s Associate Product Manager Program is a unique opportunity for individuals with 1-3 years of professional work experience to launch a fulfilling career in Product. Associate Product Managers will be provided with mentorship, tools, and growth opportunities in a challenging, fast-paced environment. This role is based in (or willing to relocate to) Austin, TX or New York, NY.

The Associate Product Manager will help Orchard build a top quality customer experience that creates raving fans, at scale. You will work closely with our talented design, engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to build industry-defining products that deliver on Orchard’s mission - to provide the most simple, stress-free, and fair way to buy and sell a home. The ideal candidate has experience working cross-functionally to tackle challenging technical and/or business problems, and a strong desire to learn the skills required of a Product leader.

What You’ll Do Here

• Be a part of a cohort of fellow Associate Product Managers who have access to career mentorship and development opportunities
• Own the delivery of product features that contribute to major company objectives, for example:
• Drive growth by bringing products to market that engage homebuyers early in their journey
• Empower our real estate agents to deliver a best-in-class service efficiently and at scale
• Enable seamless communication between the customer and each member of their deal team
• Make our operations teams significantly more efficient by finding ways to automate complex processes
• Work closely with a dedicated scrum team of design and engineering to write product requirements documents and scope the implementation of new product features
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to execute your team’s roadmap
• Track and report on product KPIs that drive product decisions and measure success

We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have:

• A Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of professional work experience
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn new skills
• Ability to break down a complex technical problem into its various components. A background in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field is helpful, but not required
• A track record of taking ownership of large projects, including identifying what those projects should be in the first place
• Demonstrated experience in cross-team collaboration
• Strong analytical capabilities - experience defining metrics, measuring performance, and using data to inform decision-making Experience with SQL and/or Python is a bonus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and can synthesize testing and learnings to share with stakeholders and executive leadership

We're continuing to work from home until it's safe for all employees to return to the office.
