Nobell Foods is creating cheese from plant-derived dairy proteins for the 99% of people who are unwilling to compromise on taste and price. Nobell is made up of a team of passionate scientists, explorers, and storytellers on a mission to radically change the way we make food so it’s better for the planet. We are backed by Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Robert Downey Jr. If you believe in our mission and are excited about revolutionizing our food system for the better, we would love to hear from you!
Your role:
We’re looking for an MBA intern to support our Commercial teams as we gear up to launch our first product. Ideally, we’d like to bring someone on-board who is comfortable conducting market research, creating financial models, and collaborating on cross-functional commercial opportunities.
We’re an early-stage company which means that regardless of your role, you will end up wearing many different hats throughout the summer (and we hope that prospect excites you!). We expect the role to have elements of Strategy, Business Development, Financial Planning, and Marketing. Whatever you end up doing, we guarantee you will not be bored.
We believe the 8-10 weeks will be an unparalleled snapshot into the excitement, opportunities, twists, turns, and problem-solving inherent to any pre-product start-up trying to profoundly change a massive industry. If you’re excited about the intersection of climate change and our food system, and want to spend your summer at the bleeding edge of that opportunity, look no further. This is the role for you.
Qualifications: The following represent the skills and experience our ideal candidate possesses. That being said, if you’re passionate about our mission, please apply! We want to hear from any candidates who are mission-aligned regardless of whether they meet the below criteria. So, please view the below as “ideal-to-haves” and not “must-haves.”
Logistics: We are located in South San Francisco and we currently expect the internship will have a material (min. ~50%) in-person component. This is a paid role.
Timing: Summer 2022. Start date flexible (Target May/June start date)
Duration: 8-10 weeks
