What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Research Analyst Intern to join our quickly expanding team. The candidate will support the Rose Research team by working closely with our research analysts and domain experts with various research threads including macroeconomic data, cryptocurrencies, equities, ESG and more. The Analyst will gather data through multiple sources and create reports to evaluate market techniques, assist in data exploration, and provide useful assistance to individuals that drive our company’s data output. This is a unique opportunity to get on the ground floor of a rapidly growing fintech startup. We are prioritizing candidates who can commute to one of our offices in either Los Angeles or NYC.
Assist with tracking historical trends and developing forecasts for key drivers of future performance across markets
The Research Analyst assists with the evaluation of markets and investment opportunities and assists in preparing reports
Interpret data from a variety of sources to assess market's economic environment and to evaluate opportunities and trends
Ability to develop relevant research projects that could be beneficial to the organization
Ability to work with a team, be collaborative, and generate unique ideas to deal with situations
Provide analytical support across the organization
Our ideal candidate:
Must be a college student or a recent graduate pursuing a degree in business/analytical or related field to be considered for this position
Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and show a strong passion for learning
Strong business and financial acumen with a desire to work in a team environment
Strong working knowledge of Excel and general knowledge of finance fundamentals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of financial principles and total business process and procedures
