Overview
Morning Brew’s B2B editorial properties (HR Brew, Emerging Tech Brew, Retail Brew, Marketing Brew, and IT Brew) are looking for two (2) summer interns for rotations through each function of B2B edit: reporting/writing; copy; social.

Morning Brew is based in New York City but this role is remote-friendly for all candidates

Here’s what you’ll be working on:
Rotation on Copy Desk:

• Help look up data/news to verify info in stories
• Checking quotes against transcripts
• Searching through lengthy studies for relevant stats
• Fact checking backup, in general

Rotation on Social Desk:

• Posting our stories across platforms
• Monitoring social content
• Working on engagement tactics across platforms
• Analyzing data and traffic trends
• Ideating longer-term engagement ideas

Rotation on Reporting:

• Assist reporters on research
• Write short, third stories for the newsletters
• Identify, pitch, write up content for different BTF sections
• Work on 1-3 reported trend pieces across your stint, to get your feet wet with actual reporting/writing.
